US ferrovanadium market follows the pace of the rally in Europea and China

Date: Jan 09, 2018 European V2O5 price increase slows down this week, comparted to considerable price increase last week, rising slightly to 9.9-10.2 $/lb V2O5.

By contrast, Euroepan ferrovanadium prices show signs of soaring as the prices increased by 2.75 $/kg V to 10-year highs since 2008, in a range of 49.50-52 $/kg V. It is mainly because the tight supply in China and South Korea causes European ferrovanadium supplies in shortage. Meanwhile, both consumers and traders show strong procurement demand.
