Vanadium market prices weaken amid the transaction gridlock

Date: Nov 20, 2018 In November, enforcement of the new rebar standards has not been as strict as expected.Steel mills use less vanadium and replace vanadium with niobium, hence the market prices of vanadium become weak and many transaction in small tonnages are made at low price. The offering prices are varied and the transaction is thin amid the gridlock between sellers and buyers. Some buyers force down the price, while the suppliers delay the selling, awaiting for the further direction.
